1[A psalm by David.] The LORD said to my Lord, "Sit in the highest position in heaven until I make your enemies your footstool."
2The LORD will extend your powerful scepter from Zion. Rule your enemies who surround you.
3Your people will volunteer when you call up your army. Your young people will come to you in holy splendor like dew in the early morning.
4The LORD has taken an oath and will not change his mind: "You are a priest forever, in the way Melchizedek was a priest."
5The Lord is at your right side. He will crush kings on the day of his anger.
6He will pass judgment on the nations and fill them with dead bodies. Throughout the earth he will crush [their] heads.
7He will drink from the brook along the road. He will hold his head high.
Jesus recalls David
Matthew 22, 36-46
36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”
41 Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question, 42 saying, “What do you think about the Christ? Whose son is he?” They said to him, “The son of David.” 43 He said to them, “How is it then that David, in the Spirit, calls him Lord, saying,
44 “‘The Lord said to my Lord,
“Sit at my right hand,
until I put your enemies under your feet”’?
45 If then David calls him Lord, how is he his son?” 46 And no one was able to answer him a word, nor from that day did anyone dare to ask him any more questions.
Paul writes in Hebrews 5, 5-9
5 In the same way, Christ did not take on himself the glory of becoming a high priest. But God said to him,
“You are my Son;
today I have become your Father.”a
6 And he says in another place,
“You are a priest forever,
in the order of Melchizedek.”b
7 During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. 8 Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered 9 and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him 10and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.
Jesus needed help and strength to pursue his mission, so he prayed. Obedient, he had a family to receive in the father’s name, The New Jerusalem. Jesus at Gethsemane: Luc 22,44 New Living Translation
He prayed more fervently, and he was in such agony of spirit that his sweat fell to the ground like great drops of blood.
Jesus did not let errors pass by and he Identifies his family to be. Mark 10,14 New Living Translation
When Jesus saw what was happening, he was angry with his disciples. He said to them, "Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children.
Still today, when the good news is announced to the poor and the suffering, it is natural for them to received the faith. It is what they want: A God that comprehends them, to whom they hold their heart in compassion. God, made man of good, bringing understanding, instruction and miracles, wherever he was, saving from hardship all those that agreed with him and ask. This miraculous man is then unjustly martyred and killed. The suffering and the needy are surpassed by all the magnificence where they recognise themselves being received in love that saves. But others have not accepted him and have executed the one with no malice.
Jesus reaches the heart of children. For the child, it is not necessary to analyse everything. The heart of a child understand the essential. He is joined and knows what he loves and when he is loved. They tell themselves that jesus suffered and died for them and that now they must help their savior by being obedient. Little children want to be loved and for that reason are obedient, but they also want to imitate, help, protect.
When we are sinners and that we take note of our attitude or surroundings, it may be easy to notice our lack of urgency and by so to recognise that we are not deserving
To be near God, yet grace is their far all.
Philippians 2, 4-8
4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. 5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,a 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant,b being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
Jesus taught and gave example, he even taught that faith can move mountains or cure fellow man.Today mankind could forsee help to everyone with todays science ,medical facilities, transportation, etc. and financial means, not mentionning and army of humble servants gifted by faith and miraculous gifts; but what is happening? There never seem to be enough comfort before we think of others. Mankind has a great difficulty to reach love, there is to little faith in the world and not enough people willing to rise to the challenge beyond measure if necessary. But a very small percentage of our Comfort and personal enjoyment goes to charity.
Paul recalls Abraham Hebrews 11, 17-19
17 By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had embraced the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son, 18even though God had said to him, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.”c 19 Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead, and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death.

But God told Abraham, "Do not be upset over the boy and your servant. Do whatever Sarah tells you, for Isaac is the son through whom your descendants will be counted.
Despite his promise, God puts Abraham to test.
1 Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!”
“Here I am,” he replied.
2 Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.”
When Abraham was going to act.
9 When they reached the place God had told him about, Abraham built an altar there and arranged the wood on it. He bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. 10 Then he reached out his hand and took the knife to slay his son. 11 But the angel of the Lord called out to him from heaven, “Abraham! Abraham!”
“Here I am,” he replied.
12 “Do not lay a hand on the boy,” he said. “Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son.”
13 Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a rama caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son. 14 So Abraham called that place The Lord Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.”
The bible will explain itself, like we can notice by Hebrews 11, 17-19 It may be important to read the bible but we must comprehend that the New Testament is sufficient for the grace of the Lord; like Jesus said: We do not put new wine in old wineskins. Adam’s sin was transmitted to all generations, which is what we call the original sine. Since Adam, everyone is mortal and mankind grows in number. Since Abraham, there in now the chosen people. The real God is recognised by faith, submission and prayers where wars are won when justice is maintain. For their faith and submission in the true God, though prisoners, the friends of Daniel are saved from being burned in a furnace: Daniel 3, 28 28Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants! They trusted in him and defied the king’s command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God. The chosen people are historically determined by their leaders where they are sometimes good, sometimes bad. They must follow a law, gave by God with ramification determined by Moses to guide them. They are many prophets in the history of the Jews, they maintain the belief in the true and only God. Wisdom comes with fear of God, but since Jesus the christian turns to the father with repentance and assurance to find help because the way to love is shown. Repentance washes away all sin with the promise of redemption. Today, life can be difficult and we may ask ourselves: If God exist, why is this or that happening? The story of Job in the old testament makes for good reading. Job was a just and important man and for no apparent reason he lost everything and suffered. He reflects with his friends: Why did God reserved him such a faith. It turns out to be just a test of faith and Job retrieves his good fortune.
Hebrews 12, 3-9 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
God Disciplines His Children
4 In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. 5 And have you completely forgotten this word of encouragement that addresses you as a father addresses his son? It says,
“My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline,
and do not lose heart when he rebukes you,
6 because the Lord disciplines the one he loves,
and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.”a
7 Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father? 8 If you are not disciplined—and everyone undergoes discipline—then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all. 9 Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live.
God is the father of all those that call upon him. Insecurity will undermine our better judgement and throw us into a dangerous spiral where life may be miserable. Even the just one may have to reconsider, Taking care of our immediate family is good but we must also consider others. Jesus relates to the poor and the forgotten.
Jesus said that if we have faith that we lack of nothing. So faith in God relieves of all hardship and procures the essential.
Rare are those that never suffered, there are so many losses, the passing of a loved one, sickness, daily work can be strainiesse. Many want to profit from the best of two worlds, but nothing is insignificant when we are searching for grace.
Hebrews 13, 15-16 15 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name. 16 And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
Matthew 6, 31-33 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Those that search for the kingdom of God may notice what they truly deserve and repent. The correction of our spirit is done in our heart where prayers can help. Jesus suffered for our sins, did he suffered for those that do not know what suffering means? We must also recognize the hurt of others.
Matthew 25, 44-46 44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’
45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’
46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”
Matthew 25, 37-40 37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ 40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
Zephaniah 2,3 Seek the LORD, all you humble of the land, you who do what he commands. Seek righteousness, seek humility; perhaps you will be sheltered on the day of the LORD's anger.
for all the wrongs you have done to me,
because I will remove from you
your arrogant boasters.
Never again will you be haughty
on my holy hill.
12 But I will leave within you
the meek and humble.
The remnant of Israel
will trust in the name of the Lord.
Centuries passes by and mankind remains the same but the humble is always respected. Mankind strives to subsist and the just prays for others. The poor has a step ahead in the run to join with God. The poor is unjustly treated when the rich protects himself. The rich will entertain himself with no regards for others, while the poors consoles themselves with words.
Romans 9, 18-2718 So you see, God chooses to show mercy to some, and he chooses to harden the hearts of others so they refuse to listen.
19 Well then, you might say, “Why does God blame people for not responding? Haven’t they simply done what he makes them do?”
20 No, don’t say that. Who are you, a mere human being, to argue with God? Should the thing that was created say to the one who created it, “Why have you made me like this?” 21 When a potter makes jars out of clay, doesn’t he have a right to use the same lump of clay to make one jar for decoration and another to throw garbage into? 22 In the same way, even though God has the right to show his anger and his power, he is very patient with those on whom his anger falls, who are destined for destruction. 23 He does this to make the riches of his glory shine even brighter on those to whom he shows mercy, who were prepared in advance for glory. 24And we are among those whom he selected, both from the Jews and from the Gentiles.
25 Concerning the Gentiles, God says in the prophecy of Hosea,
“Those who were not my people,
I will now call my people.
And I will love those
whom I did not love before.”k
26 And,
“Then, at the place where they were told,
‘You are not my people,’
there they will be called
‘children of the living God.’”l
27 And concerning Israel, Isaiah the prophet cried out,
“Though the people of Israel are as numerous as the sand of the seashore,
only a remnant will be saved.
they will never tell lies or deceive one another.
They will eat and sleep in safety,
and no one will make them afraid.”
shout aloud, O Israel!
Be glad and rejoice with all your heart,
O daughter of Jerusalem!
Hebrews 12, 11-15 11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.
12 Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. 13 “Make level paths for your feet,”b so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.
14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. 15 See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.
Hebrews 3, 5-6 5 Moses was certainly faithful in God’s house as a servant. His work was an illustration of the truths God would reveal later. 6 But Christ, as the Son, is in charge of God’s entire house. And we are God’s house, if we keep our courage and remain confident in our hope in Christ.
John 14, 20 When I am raised to life again, you will know that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.
Grace is available to every faithful that take advantage of it. God is almighty and knows the destiny of everyone. I believe that everyone is saved, so are those that are not aware of the truth because God knows the heart of those unaware of the good news, so is everyone made in God’s image.
Genesis 1, 27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
The first will be last because the more we know, the more we should be deserving. They is no real value before grace other than being repentant. I believe that redemption washes away all sin and I hope so for everyone. It can not be otherwise, no shame is admissible. If I see myself wearing patch up and cheap clothing, it’s that I have not attain my goal. God knows what is acceptable; Hope and perseverance in God’s light is reassuring.
1 And again Jesus spoke to them in parables, saying, 2 “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son, 3 and sent his servantsa to call those who were invited to the wedding feast, but they would not come. 4 Again he sent other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner, my oxen and my fat calves have been slaughtered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding feast.”’ 5 But they paid no attention and went off, one to his farm, another to his business, 6 while the rest seized his servants, treated them shamefully, and killed them. 7 The king was angry, and he sent his troops and destroyed those murderers and burned their city. 8 Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy. 9 Go therefore to the main roads and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find.’ 10 And those servants went out into the roads and gathered all whom they found, both bad and good. So the wedding hall was filled with guests.
11 “But when the king came in to look at the guests, he saw there a man who had no wedding garment. 12 And he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you get in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. 13 Then the king said to the attendants, ‘Bind him hand and foot and cast him into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ 14 For many are called, but few are chosen.”
It is impossible to have the best of two worlds because for God we must have only one world which is one of complete charity. A lot of people are tormented and are sacrificing a lot for there family, that is already a world of charity. Far from family, along against evil, like the prodigal son, there is comfort in repentance; constant repentance for daily sins. It is obvious that we are constantly in faults, may it be a slight lack of patience, but that doesn’t take away the joy of a beautiful day and the celebration of grace.
Jesus that was without fault, suffered for all mankind. He had to join the dying and miserables, he had to save those good in spirit but lost without comfort. He made of his life on earth miracles by is affinity with his father, for the glory of the father. Now, the father will assist those that love the son.
John 15, 13 There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends.
Romans 6, 1-14 1 Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? 2 Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? 3 Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? 4 For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives
5 Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised to life as he was. 6 We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. 7 For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin. 8 And since we died with Christ, we know we will also live with him. 9 We are sure of this because Christ was raised from the dead, and he will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him. 10 When he died, he died once to break the power of sin. But now that he lives, he lives for the glory of God. 11 So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus.
12 Do not let sin control the way you live;a do not give in to sinful desires.13 Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God. 14 Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.
But we must deserve grace. Jesus is Divine Love, the greatest love possible to recognise on earth.
John 15, 1-12 1 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. 7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.8 By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. 9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.10 If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. 11 These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.
12 “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
Adam sinned and man admitted himself disobedient and established rules, laws to please God, but with each offense forgiveness seemed to be further away because sacrificed offerings on an altar was the way for redemption, we can than believe that the means where not available to everyone, and the heart of man could but be miserable.
Romans 5, 18-21 18 Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. 19 For as by the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous. 20 Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, 21 so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Bless is the Lord Jesus, the true only son of God, made man, died and resurrected by the Father for the salvation of mankind.
